journovory started as a set of internal notes passed between camera operators and gaffers trying to solve the same problems on different studio floors across the UK. It has grown into a full resource covering equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and the workflows that keep television news and live shows running smoothly.

Our story

journovory was founded by a small group of broadcast professionals who were tired of watching good stories get let down by avoidable production mistakes — a boom mic dipping into shot, a lighting rig that couldn't hold colour temperature, a camera move that fought the autocue. We set out to document what actually works.

Where we work

Today, journovory supports regional broadcasters, independent production studios and live-show venues across the United Kingdom, offering studio audits, crew training and full workflow builds alongside our published guidance.
